Well you can rest assured my life ain't wonderfully organised - types she,

surrounded by boxes full of stuff " to sort out later " , piles of books and

catalogues from the hall bookcase that was taken down 3 weeks ago for the

hall to be painted (which hasn't yet been started), a weetabix encrusted

carpet, 3 large boxes of Christmas present awaiting wrapping etc etc.

I have only reached 'S'

If your Christmas card list is in alphabetical order, you're more organised

than me! My list appears to be on several different pieces of paper in

several different rooms - aaaargh.

Sorry you're so stressed out. Time for a stiff drink maybe.

I may seem organised BUT I am still waking up at 4.30am and have done so

since 1st December. So I am absolutely shattered all day. I take the time to

read my emails so the rest of the day I can sort out Christmas/house/child.

My childminded day off for studying has been filled with present shopping,

including returning things which are broken, visits to post office,

wrapping, cutting out shapes for toddler craft activities. I have been

putting DS in cot at 2.30pm hoping he will sleep so I can do cards etc,

which I can't do whilst he is awake, but the time flies by.

I may have moaned about my husband on Sunday, but he does do quite alot

about the house. I mean I don't even get around to emptying the dishwasher

these days and he does it when he gets home from work. He is also decorating

the spare room, and we developed a leak in the kitchen roof AGAIN last night

much to his dismay. I went to badminton last night as usual but came home

early, as I was so tired I felt ill, and was in bed asleep by 10pm (managed

to keep eyes open to see SILENT WITNESS though, but only just.)

My house is tidy I'm afraid, but I would feel worse if it wasn't, although

it hasn't seen a duster for months now (DH remarked on this the other day -

so I told him where the dusters were kept!)

With all this I am finding it difficult to remember what day it is!

So take heart Jo what you see of people it not always what is going on

underneath

- thinking she will go back to bed soon - i.e. 5.30am!!!
