I think it depends on your Mc's and depends on your level of sensitivity. YMMV. --E McD's friesSeveral weeks after the fries were deemed safe my 9 year old and I decided to give them a try. I've always had a problem with the fires but thought it might be because of the fat (I had a bowel resection in my twenties after an obstruction and have had trouble with fatty food ever since). They've stated that the fries have been tested for gluten, but we also react to wheat itself (not just the protein) plus casein, lactose and whey (they also announced there's dairy at the same time they announced wheat). The official statement was that the oil they use is free of the proteins. That doesn't help me or others like me. I find it difficult to just stay out of gluten, much less all the other allergens you mention. I think for people with only gluten problems, the fries are likely ok (location dependent - some places are bad about how they handle their oil). If you're ok with thinks like distilled vinegar then you should be fine with McD's fries.
