Guest guest
Hi , I have been on Epo for over a year now and get a shot once a month. I tell you, by the time the third week is here I can't wait to get that shot in the arm. The only side effect I have had is a sickish feeling for a couple of days and then I feel good. I am told that most folks do not have this side effect. We certainly don't know the long term effect of any of the drugs we take, but as long as we have kidney damage we will need a supplement. The only alternative I have been offered is periodic blood transfusion, which I have decided not to do. Encourage Dennis - he will appreciate the difference in his fatigue. Good luck to you both!
