Guest guest
Hi I did speak to Dennis tonight about Epo, told him about the encouraging messages I've had back. He's feeling some reservations about possible side effects etc, just that he doesn't know enough about it I guess. Based on his progess over the last few months he should be under the 100 mark at his next blood test at the end of the month, and I am sure he will be ready to give it a go then ... he's so fed up with the fatigue. He's also feeling a bit bummed out at the moment too, cos I found out today that he will have to be away for three months when he has his transplant, as we are 300 km away from the hospital. Being self- employed that gives some obvious concerns. We're hoping to find someone to do some part-time work for us before then, just to tick things over and look after our customers until he's on his feet again, but he would really rather be on hand at least in an advisory capacity! Guess it's just another challenge to deal with ... has anyone else had to be so far away from home for so long after their transplant ... even with the kids it's going to be hard, we'll need to call on quite a bit of friends' support. Will find out later this week about scheduling his fistula operation. cheers > Hi , > > What a sweet daughter to want to give her kidney! Having raised two daughters myself, I know you are in for so much joy. > > Really do encourage Dennis to try the Epo. It really did give me my life back and made a huge difference with the fatigue. Once I got the Epo going, I really have not struggled with the fatigue as much until the last 6 months or so, but I think that is because I am so close to end stage. It really does help with the energy level. > > I also want to pipe in and say if Dennis thinks he is going to possibly need hemodialysis, as Pierre says, it is better to have it and allow it time to mature before use. > >
