Guest guest
Thanks Trisha. I hate to give it up but then I could also use the money. I can always make another one sometime. Going to think it over for awhile and then decide. Guest guest
I've seen the photo of your afghan.its very beautiful! May I ask what do you use it for? Here we would use it as a shawl or stole in winters, depending upon its size and call the same. Afghan I had thought to be only an Afghanistan National! Guest guest
I wish I could crochet like that. My work is not nearly so good. I have a pattern for a breast cancer afghan that has the ribbons on it but I don't know when I will ever get around to working on it again. My support group had planned to make one together. I lost my pattern in the storm but one of my family had a copy so I have it safely in my boxes now. I am trying to get a new box of patterns started. You should try to make one with ribbons on it. They are really pretty. Gerry > > I just posted a picture of a breast cancer afghan I made awhile back > and finally found after we moved. I am debating on putting it on eBay > and keeping it. Guest guest
Our normal shawl is 2.5 meters long.We wrap it all around us in winters (pashmina,cashmere,woollen,mohare...). Shawls are more popular here than coats, jackets. Humi. > > > > I just posted a picture of a breast cancer afghan I made awhile back > > and finally found after we moved. Guest guest
I looked at the afghan. You do beautiful work. I'd love to have a pattern. I'm currently crocheting a scarf out of Fun Fur. Kind of interesting to work with. I've never crocheted with anything like this, but it sure is fun. Guest guest
I crocheted an afghan did the granny square only larger...every two rows I used a different color like peach, light green, yellow and made it the size of the bed.. I like to knitt mostly...make afghans...cast on 105 stitches with 10 1/2 needles...like the round ones...and then I knit the first stitch, purl the second and alternate till i end with a knit...remember always start each row with the knit and end with a knit... I use 3 sceins of the red heart yarn super saver 5 oz...usually use varigated yarn and then 1 scein for the boarder which i usually single crochet... you can use 3 single colors the same and another color for the boarder...like all light green and white for the boarder... Usually get the yarn at Wal-Marts...wish there was an AC around here...there is one about an hour away...they are having a big yarn from Yesterday Wednesday to next Tuesday...33 % all yarn...
