Guest guest
Wow - that was just plain disturbing. As someone who suffered from anorexia throughout high school and college, I still see these pictures and am horrified. If you scroll down on that link and go to her website they have some beautiful photos of her. She has lost a severe amount of weight from those publicity and " The Practice " pictures. I know that if she was my sister or friend I would be trying desperately to get her some help. She is very ill. NO mistaking that. Jenn To: Serious-Weight-Watchers Subject: Re: About Pagents, Models and being a ballerina There is NO way someone 5'10 " would weight 125 and not look emaciated. Check out these pictures of Lara Flynn Boyle. She says she weighs 96. Now while I was in the hospital I weighed 96 at one point and let me tell you, I looked skeletal, but not THIS bad. I'm 5'3 " now and 117. http://www.chez.com/affection/actual/aout03a.htm I honestly think this woman needs serious help. I thought that when I saw her on the Golden Globes last year. Ugh! Tory (not anorexic by a longshot!) _____
Guest guest
Below is an excerpt from the same site on Brittany Speers. Come on now, 5'5 " and she looks huge. Who are they kidding. I would love to have the scale that they weigh on. I wonder how much the lady who made that comment weighed. Barbara ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ " " " Sources say the 5-foot-5 star has gone from 105 to 120 pounds in a matter of weeks. " I was shocked at how much weight she's put on - it looks like at least 15 pounds, " says Liz McKinnon, 29, of Merrit, B.C., who had from-row seats with her 6-year-old daughter Meg for the May 26 show. " When she turned around, her butt looked huge. I actually felt embarrassed for her. " " "

I hope she does get some help because it's just not healthy. She's going to die if she doesn't do something. I get so angry when I see how obsessed people are with being stick thin! I mean I understand wanting to lose weight and look good, and I've even caught myself thinking " Would another five pounds be a good idea? " because it's hard to get out of " loser " mode. But I can imagine the need to be thin in her line of work is just way too much pressure on someone with major body issues.
Guest guest
Oh please! Unless you're 3 feet tall, NO ONE looks " huge " at 120 pounds! > Below is an excerpt from the same site on Brittany Speers. Come on now, > 5'5 " and she looks huge. Who are they kidding. Guest guest
I agree with the way Boyle looks and that it's horrifying--instead of being attractive as she used to be, it's almost painful to even look at her. It's ironic that with her line of work she thinks she needs to keep losing, when I read somewhere that she's NOT being offered many roles lately because she's too thin and they don't want to take the medical or legal responsibility of someone not being in good health or being a possible health risk. Don't know how accurate any source is of course, but her loss is working against her right now. It would be nice to see her get help and look good as she did before. It's very sad, isn't it? I hope she does get some help because it's just not healthy. She's going to die if she doesn't do something. I get so angry when I see how obsessed people are with being stick thin!
