Okay, so six weeks into this thing, I'd about given up on losing any more weight. I lost an amazing ten pounds on Phase 1, then a pound right after that, then my weight loss stalled. (I want to lose forty-ish pounds.) I was sticking with it largely because of my husband, and also because I FEEL healthier eating this way. (I've been a junk food addict since tenth grade, when I discovered that the vanilla milkshakes from the student store helped my broken heart when my boyfriend broke up with me. I was a tiny little thing at the time. Not any more.)

Then this morning I realized that my jeans felt loose, so I weighed myself for the first time in a few days. I've lost four pounds! Grand total, fifteen! I'm just amazed! I guess this really does work! :-)
