Hi there:

Glad you're still feeling relatively decent, despite your post surgical Olympian

event of running to get the phone. I had discharge off and on for about two

weeks post. I even had it at my 2 week f/u visit. My doctor said that the

uterus is just rebounding and contracting and that creates some extra " stuff " to

deal with.

As for those surgical strips, mine never came off. I mean it. I took baths every

single day for about a week and nothing. Finally I called my doctor and asked if

she needed them off before my two week appt and she said no. I yanked them off

myself in the tub the night before just to get a better look at things. I

think it's okay if they're still on.

I have my 6 week f/u on the 18th and can't wait. Still feeling great and a bit

euphoric about the whole thing. I can't believe I've almost been back at work as

long as I was off. I'm so irritated that I struggled with this decision for so

long. I should have done this months ago.

Take care and be good. No more sprinting!

Cheers, Serena

healing, and all the best in the future!

A short update on my recovery: I set myself back a bit yesterday when

I literally *ran* to answer a phone 2 rooms away. Dumb, I know. I

had a return of abdominal pain/stiffness and am taking it very easy

today. Ice-packs seem to help. I ran a low-grade fever on day 5

post-myo but things seem under control now
