And just to show you how easy Netscape is, this is how you do it:

Go to Edit - message filters.

Click New

type in a filter name (i.e. Coffee)

type in into the third space on the next line

click on new folder and type in a name (i.e. Coffee)

click OK

click OK

And you are done. Repeat for all your other email lists.

Tee hee.

And FWIW, its easy to set up other email addresses on Netscape, and to alter

your preferences, and its easier to read, and you don't get any flashy

graphics (which upset an old DOS head like me). The only snag, and for me

its a bonus, is that you have to go out of Netscape to go back in as another

email address. Apparently all that has changed with Netscape 6 and I'm not

sure I like it. You don't have to worry about your 'accounts' either.

Oh and in the browser you don't have stoopid favourites, you can easily sort

and transfer your bookmarks and there no silly drop down thingy on the left

hand side!

Have I converted anyone yet?

Not sure I'll download the new version yet - I really like the fact that it

isn't easy for DH to read my emails! Have you downloaded 6 yet?

Must be an old version of netscape as that doesn't happen with my version - Id

never be able to read them all if I had to wait for them all to download

first.....

Yep, downloaded it, made it look like my old version (sad or what), played

around

with it for a few days and I am afraid I am back to good old 4.72. Netscape 6

kept crashing the pooter, and most annoying showed emails unread when there

weren't any. So I will wait for the next update. Not worth the 2 hour download

time anyway.

Now I ust have to work out how to transfer my new emails over other than sending

them to myself.
