A good week after all

Good morning everybody!

Just wanted to let ya know this has turned out to be a very good week

after all. As some of you know, I've been worried sick about my cat,

Andy, who has been ill. The tests came back yesterday and Andy does

not have any serious illness i.e. no cancer, no upper respiratory

infection, no Feline AIDS but he's still sick. Last night he spent the

night at the vet hospital where they force fed him and gave him

fluids. He should be home today with some antibiotics. I finally got a

good nights rest last night and slept like a baby, because I didn't

have to worry about him as much. I know he's in safe hands now.

For even better news, I've lost around 2 pounds during the past week.

I've been sick, and not eating well, so I guess there is a bonus after

all. This morning I ate a fairly good breakfast: 2 pancakes from a

mix, a hard cooked egg (no fat), Log Cabin sugar-free syrup, I Can't

Believe It's Not Butter Spray, 1 cup 2% milk and coffee. Later I'll

have a pear and cottage cheese for a snack. I've been eating on the

high end of points and still managed to lose weight. Yipppee!!!

I'm so glad Andy's tests came back okay. Hopefully they will figure out

what's going on and he'll be back to 100% in no time. Great news on the

weight loss too. If only I could follow in your foosteps. I'm having an

awfuly hard time lately.
