Guest guest
Hey Chris-- No, I haven't ever tried (or ever heard of) False Unicorn Root. With my luck, I'd probably grow a horn in the middle of my forehead (smile!). But, I have tried chasteberry, which works similar to clomid. I got pg on it a couple times and I have a friend for which it worked successfully twice--unlike me, she actually had the babies. That's about the most natural remedy I've had--now I'm on to the hard stuff. I'm scared of another mc too, which is why I'm patiently waiting for direction from my RE. He told me if I tried on my own, I'd most likely mc again. The truth hurts. I'll be getting an HSG test in the next couple weeks. Although I know I have that mass there from the U/S, I guess he's going to look and see if the other tube is clear and maybe he'll be able to see what the mass actually is. I hope I don't need surgery to remove it. My three mcs were all really early on--7 weeks. How far along were you with your's. I had cramping for about an hour with each. Never needed a D & C. With metho and an ep, there's supposed to be a period of pain about 1 week after the shot. I had minor cramping--but nothing severe at all. I think a cyst hurt me more than the ep. I guess I'm not a real success story for metho though. I had two injections, and it still didn't completely work. Metho does work for most women, though. It's a little odd that you had uterine contractions after an ep, since it never made it to the uterus--but the body will always keep us guessing. Guest guest
My son and I went to " The Safe House " - it is sort of an icon in Milwaukee, downtown. The decor is a spy premise, with lots of nooks and crannies and surprises. Their i's are " shaken, not stirred " by sending them through pneumatic tubes. It was fun! Chris Chris Dear Chris: Your menus are looking great! Congratulations on staying on track even when eating out. Where did you go for dinner? The steak sounds delish! Guest guest
Kelli, Hi, I live near polis in Md. (Here's my long story) I am going to Dr. Mottla (RE) in polis (his main office is in Rockville). My story is very similiar to many on this site: 16 months ago, I had a healthy yet big (10lbs. 5 oz) boy (3 days late). The pregnancy was wonderful without any problems but the delivery (vaginally) was difficult. Forceps, vacuum, the whole thing. My son suffered a broken collar bone (now perfectly fine and ready for the major leagues) and I a broken tailbone (still bothers me). 2 Weeks postpartum, (after calling my OB several times), I passed out from losing so much blood and blood cloths. My husband called the ambulance and I required a blood transfusion. The inital U/S done by the Dr. on call, apparently didn't show anything so they sent my home. 2 days later (Mon.), my OB reviewed the records and told me to come to the hospital for a D $ C. She said I had retained placenta. I felt 100 times better after all that, (except the tailbone). I nursed for 4 months than no period. After several tries with estrogen I had a Hysteroscopy with my OB in Dec. 2001. She said that she couldn't get thru and even perforated my uterus so she stopped and referred my to my RE. I had an HSG and then a 2nd hysteroscopy in March 2002. My RE was able to remove some but couldn't get to scarring in the upper uterus so stopped. I now have another HSG with X-ray next month to get a better " roadmap " . He says my lining is about 4-5 so I'm back on estrogen this cycle. In the meantime, I scheduled an appt. with an " A " list Dr. in Boston in July. My parents live there so I'll have a place to stay. I'll wait and see what happens with this HSG and then forward everything to Boston and give it one more shot. I'm just not ready to give up on having my own baby although my RE has told us to start thinking about surrogancy. What do you think about it? How has the process been for you? Thanks, for writing, I'll keep a look out for your messages. Good Luck, Chris.

Guest guest
Chris; Thank you for sharing. I have been writing an inspirational book for about 3 years now, here and there. Now I have a deadline for November this year, and it will come out right before Valentines Day. I feel like God is leading me to a ministry with my book, it's about how God leads couples to find the right mate. I have some wonderful stories. I just want to be on track and I don't want something in my life that I know is a stumbling block or could be. Thank you so much for sharing with me. I am just staying in prayer and allow God to be in total control. Have a wonderful evening. Ren

Guest guest
Many many thanks Marlena. I'll have a look at the book list now. I also found something else via the group from the Wellness Medical Clinic that was useful. It's so encouraging to even have a clue what the problem is! At least it's a step in the right direction! I'm going to ask for the Free T3 and Free T4 tests do be done:-))) I'll be back as soon as I've got the test reports. In the meantime I'll keep an eye on the group (I've got the posts coming through as e-mails), and wish everyone all the best with their treatment.
