I sing the odd Christian worship song if it sticks in my head after church Green Grow the Rushes O - now that brings back memories - but not enough - would it be too much to ask you to remind me of the words? > PLEASE give me some more ideas!!!! Guest guest
Why is it that whenever I start singing my daughter starts waving her finger and saying 'stop it mummy', and 'enough, enough'. Guest guest
I can identify with this. Every time I open my mouth tells me to stop singing. She now has a rule that I can sing on every day except Monday so whenever I start to sing I get " what day is it mummy? " with a very stern look. Twinkle Twinkle Star (he sings Tiddle Tiddle Star) Row row row your boat Mulberry bush Head shoulders, knees and toes. Although she may be too big for these now! If you like any of these and don't know the words I can send them across. What about " If you're happy and you know it " - Harry's fav. as we sing if you are Harry and you know it.... Or the pop song I sing to him: Brittany Spears " I was born to make you happy " and I sing " I was born to change your nappy " !!! ;-) HTH Regards

Guest guest
Spookeeeee!! (though obviously why the song is **so** deep in your subconscious!) I feel another thread coming on here... Georgi's song is MPeoples " just for you " it was in the charts when she was born...I always loved it & then my best friend sent us the CDsingle... always seemed appropriate especially after all her birth traumas. >>may be he's heard you doing " perfect day " !!!!<cheeky grin> > > >Funnily enough.... > >This was no 1 shortly after he was born, and we used to play the cd in the >car to get him off to sleep! Does everyone have a song they associate with their newborn baby (or babies) ? Mine was Pure Shores by All Saints, because I loved it, and Dan and I used to sit on the sofa for hours, BF for England, watching MTV. He always perked up, pulled off the nipple (not literally !) and watched the video when it came on. Even now, he still stops what he's doing and bops when it's on. -- Clare Lusher. Brown eyed girl - Van on Happened to have the tape in the car early in pregnancy and was convinced I was going to give birth to a brown-eyed girl. Later thought it would be a boy but, nope.
