Guest guest
Hi, I just received a shipment for Whey Low sugar substitute. Haven't tried it yet, but is supposed to be used the same as sugar even in recipes, and be good for diabetics. I'm not diabetic, but am hypoglycemic and my last blood sugar test was a little high. So, I thought that I'd give it a try and I'll let you know what I think of it. I drink diet coke and use Equal in my coffee. I drink only one diet coke a day most of the time. Some days I don't drink any. So, if I use it in my coffee and it reacts like sugar, I'll get shaky. I don't like Splenda, and also didn't like Stevia. I ended up throwing it out. We ate in a Mexican Restaurant called Tlaquepaque in the Willow Glen area in San , a couple of nights ago and I ate Enchilada's with no problem! Also ate a cheeseburger minus the bun, along with the FRENCH FRIES in Mc's and have had no problem. One of my sons made dinner for us, got huffy when I said I couldn't eat some of the things he wanted to make, and went along with some of the things, and got glutened!! I know he was trying to show off how well he could cook, because he never did, and I told him he could have called me and I could have brought over the items he needed. I could hardly sleep all night with lower back pain so bad I laid on pillows and still couldn't sleep. Also had cramps and D, and after the third day of running to the bathroom, I finally took something to stop it. My mouth sore got worse and I have three big sores on my body. It can be hard making members of our families understand. They know it, but they don't know it, if that makes any sense! Donna S.
