If you are done with chemo, why your eyelashes and eyebrowns are starting to fall out..? aren't they suppose to grow back..? Mine did, after chemo. I hope all will go well for you, you are in my prayers. Lu wrote: Hi Lizzie,It depends what chemo you had. I heard 7-8 weeks for the side effects to go.I had Adriamycin & Cytoxan - last dose Jan. 25. It took 3-4 weeks for my taste buds to start going back to normal. I think I'm seeing some patches of hair on my scalp, but my eyelashes and eyebrows are starting to fall out and my fingernails have black spots. I also think my vision has gotten worse, but I'm waiting for another month or so, then will get an eye checkup. - Frieda Vasco wrote

Hi Lu,

As I told Lizzie, even though the chemo is done, it takes a while to

pass through your system.

I thought it was 7-8 weeks, but Lizzie's doctor says a year!

I was prepared for my eyelashes/eyebrows to fall out because that seems

to be the experience with women in my cancer discussion group who took

Adriamycin.

Thanks for thinking of me.
