Guest guest
Thanks, , and all, for help with symptoms. I can see that this is really a good place to talk things out. In terms of the tinnitus thing, I have actually had tinnutis for some years, but it's only in the past three weeks that I've noticed a hypersensitivity to sound. I hear things in my environment that I never took notice of before, and sound " hurts. " The sensation is that I'm being pelted with sound, and what my mind tells me is that my immune system must be weak. It is very difficult being out in public b/c the noise feels assaultive. On good days I can deal with this but on bad ones the only thing that helps is to lay down with one ear against the pillow and a hot water bottle agaisnt the other side of my head. I used to have a cat that was hypersensite to noise. When I'd feed her, she'd freak out if I turned on the water faucet in the kitchen, or made any noise whatever. She'd run away. Now I feel like I understand what she was going through. That she was hyperaware to noise and that it hurt her. I began having continuous migraine symptoms about a year ago and this preceeded the joint/muscle pain by about nine months. so I didn't start being interested in finding out a reason for the joint pain until recently, and only then put the migraines in the same basket, so to speak, as the joint pain, realizing that it's all part of a syndrome, not isolated at all. i know everything is connected but what frightens me, and i hate to say i'm frightened for i try to have a positive outlook and stay fortified, is that over the months i keep developing one more symptom after the other. first the migraines, then the joint/burning sensations, now the noise problem... And i want to break the isolation. luckily, this group makes me feel like I can talk to people with about the same level of discomfort, in one way or other, and compare stories. i practice being positive in my life and always want to find the good in everything. but i need a place to also be honest about what's really happening to me so that i don't feel so alone. thanks for listening, emily __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Hi Pam.. in my opinion i would say to you, take the test.what is pregnancy symptoms in one could be pms in another... rather then get your hopes up and then dashed, once you are late take the test and that way you know for sure instead of driving yourself crazy with each possible symptom. Please let us know how your test results turn out. Best of luck to you,

Guest guest
Pam, those are symptoms.. but if you have a test girl... TAKE IT!!!! Don't keep us in suspence.. lol If I diddn't have a test and was that symptomatic.. I'd go and buy one to take it.. Take it... then let us know.. you have five minutes.. *smile* Hugs, ~ Symptoms Hello all! I have joined this group AGAIN! I stopped getting the messages for a while, things were hectic at home. I have a pregnancy question in general...maybe some of you moms can help me. I had been getting periods regularly since July. My October period was only two days and stopped and I haven't gotten a period yet in November. I really don't feel like I am going to get one either. I am having very tender breasts lately. First it was tender around the nipple area then yesterday, the whole breast started to " hurt " and still has been today. Also, I have been very sick in the evenings after I eat...it could be anything I eat for dinner and I get sick. I thought I may have an ulcer (I'm going for a PH motility and an Endoscopy next week), but everyone keeps telling me that I could be pregnant and having " evening " sickness. Did any one have these types of feelings? I have a pregnancy test at home, but I am afraid to take it yet...I am afraid of the results. I want a baby so bad, but I don't want a negative result like I used to get! HELP!! Thanks in advance. ~Pam Cannata e-mail: pamcannata@... phone: Our Website: www.geocities.com/wlsduo _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail

Guest guest
Pam, I definitely had " evening sickness! " I felt exactly the way you're describing. Guest guest
Carol, Water, water, water. Drink as much liquid as you can! I'm not kidding. When I say water, it can be tea (green tea is wonderful!) coffee, pop,V-8 is good if tomatoy stuff doesn't cause GERD. My Mom has constipation a lot, so does hubby, so do I. Being treated for another ailment and doctor told me 40 oz was NOT enough--60 oz better. I get up in the morning--measure out my 60 oz, and " take away " ounces throughout the day. Haven't been bothered in about six months. My husband does " the V-8' " and stool softeners and that works for him. Another surgeon told me to eat 4 to 6 Triscuits and I wouldn't be bothered. Sometimes I do both--because I don't want to have a problem again. Betty

Guest guest
Although Bert did not have this problem, my mother did when she was on chemo for lung cancer. More than one doctor recommened Metamucil and it worked beutifully.
