Guest guest
Hi Carol, I believe we have at least 3 Carols if not more. Its a good idea to put your state or maybe a last initial in order to keep you all seperate. I am nne and there is nn2, who doesn't post much then we have 2 Ann's! I had chemo almost 16 yrs ago and didn't have any type of pain so can't help you with your question. I will keep you in my prayers. Hi, I am Carol also, and I was just wondering how many Carol's do we have in our group! It seems like that is the most common name here. I am Carol from Ohio. Where are the rest of the Carol's from? I also have a question. Are any of you who are currently on chemo allowed to take ibuprofen for pain? My doctor said no, but gave me Celebrex. Isn't that sort of the same thing? (Nsaid) The Celebrex does not help the terrible pain I get from the Neulasta shot, but ibuprofen would most likely help because I always had good luck with it before chemo. I have my 4th treatment out of 6 this Thursday, and the Neulasta shot the next day. So I would like to take ibuprofen this tiem to see if it helps. Thanks all! Guest guest
Hi Carol, I recently had gall bladder surgery and when I came home my surgeon gave me an RX for Ibuprofen....800mg every 8 hours. I am doing chemo and Neulasta and I asked my Onc about the Ibuprofen and he said it was fine. I have had NO trouble with the Neulasta so far. Perhaps it's because I am taking the Ibuprofen. I also take Celebrex for my arthritis. Trisha -- How many Carols??? Hi, I am Carol also, and I was just wondering how many Carol's do we have in our group!
