Guest guest
Welcome back Sandy and thanks for the warning. Jo! virus > To all my dear friends that have helped me through so many problems, and so much support. > I have been off of my computer because I had to purchase a new one. > The other day I was on the internet and a screen came up that said spyware detected, do you want to remove, for some reason I was thinking it was from my anti virus people and I said yes to remove. It wiped out my whole computer. It was about 5 years old, and I had a lot of important information on it, includeing pictures, my husbands disability items as well as mine. This terrible virus wiped out everything. I called HP, Norton anti-virus and Att(which is who I am prescribed to) and everything they told me to do didnt work. > So please if you get a screen up that says spyware, DONOT push yes to remove. I am very happy to be back on, but this was a very expensive mistake on my part. > Your friend, Sandy > >

Guest guest
This terrible virus wiped out everything. >>> Hi Sandy, geez, I'm sorry to hear what happened to you. I will never understand people who write these viruses to deliberately do such harm. anyways, the reason I'm writing is because yours is not the first I've heard of this. the other day a woman who works with my husband called me for help about this exact same virus. she also had to go out and buy a new computer. I've looked for information on this virus, but haven't found any. so i guess it pays to be so careful...and even then we can get fooled into doing things that trigger these virus once they are on our computers. but glad you're back online.......... maggie
Guest guest
I do want to add one thing, Please, Please backup your data. I do a lot of old family photos and if I make any changes I back them up. I would hate to think of the years of work I would lose if my disk went out and I had no backups... dale Re: virus > > This terrible virus wiped out everything. > >>> > > Hi Sandy, > geez, I'm sorry to hear what happened to you.
