Guest guest
I recently received a letter by snail mail from a man who has scleroderma and will be starting AP on Oct 18. He had gotten my name from the Portland, Oregon Scleroderma Support Group. He was just reaching out for some assurance and wanting to hear one good thing about AP. I called him and talked for a couple of hours.....Yes!!!! Then I printed off and sent him a whole packet of pages from our website and some of your success stories. It was exciting to tell him he does have some hope of getting better. The best part.....he has found a rheumatologist at the Oregon Health & Sciences University OHSU who is open to trying AP. The doctor said he would consider it, but would need to do some studying on it first. He has now written a letter to the man telling him he will prescribe AP for him. This man will go to his appointment on Oct 18 with copy of the Physicians Protocol from this website in his hand. I'm especially excited because if this patient is successful we will have a rheumie at the top teaching hospital in our area who will be able to do AP. This man was very grateful to receive the information and encouragement (he doesn't have a computer) and will be keeping in touch.
