You’re a fine squeaker!!! Good for

you. Now, did you ask to be put on the cancellation list? Between now and then,

someone will cancel. Probably a lot of someones. They call from a list. You can

also call there once a week to see if they’ve had cancellations, which

will reinforce your place on the list.

Can you avoid latex until then? It would

be a shame to confuse the issue, and I know latex does make those nasty

blisters. My sister found latex in her Isotoner gloves once (years ago).

WOO-HOO!...kinda

I took your advise and called

to see if i needed a referral to go see

the dermatologist, and i don't! so i called them

and made an

appointment for my " DH " to see if that's

what it is...LOL, so 2-3 days

before i go i'll eat at subway or something so i

can have the blisters

for him to biopsy (ironic that i already know waht

does it huh?)

BUT-he's sooo booked up, the appointment isn't

till may 17th, and the

next place i called i couldn't get in till april

sometime. But at

least i finally am going! YAY! now i can know for

sure :) my only

other suspect is latex, but i don't think it would

be so obvious that

when i eat wheat 2-3 days before that i get those

blisters. Thank you

for encouraging me- SQUEAK SQUEAK! lol

I never thought to ask to be put on a cancellation list, i don't wanna

miss school tho, i'm shooting for perfect attendance (employers LOVE

that sort of thing...anything that helps me at this point in my life,

i have weight lifting restrictions, tendonitis/carpal tunnel from

previous jobs, plus all the soldering and latex stuff i have to

avoid.) So i figure i'll just wait till i get in, i'm happy to just

get in! I hope i am avoiding latex, but i can't say for sure cuz my

boyfriend doesn't realize what he's doing half the time (he works at

the place i used to with the latex anti-static mats everywhere) I have

him paying pretty good attention, but there's always those little slip

ups that keep me untrusting....I would think tho that the antibodies

they look for for gluten intolerance are different from latex ones?

I've found it in thie dumbest places, band-aids, rubber bands, shoes,

my underwear : " > the backs of my drapes, the bathmat rugs...sheesh!

The braces i was wearing for the tendonitis were neoprene to, made

with it. what a mess to get used to!! I still wonder if my immune

system all of sudden decided to go haywire, cuz as far as i remember,

i NEVER had all these allergies up till about 5 years ago. Ok...sorry

for the mini-novel! Hope you have a good night/day! Tina

If they call you to fill a cancellation,

you can turn it down if it isn’t convenient and still keep your original

appointment.

I just don’t want the dermatologist

to dismiss your rash as latex allergy and refuse the biopsy—that’s

all the confusion I meant.

Could still just call them and ask once a week?

I see waht you mean by the biopsy thing, i wouldn't tell them it might

be latex, cuz i REALLY want to have them check for gluten intolerance

instead, i've been fighting for that for about a year.
