underarm until the medication started to work. So please don't get

one of these. So will have to try something else to shave legs.

Hi Jane Anne,

Ouch! Ouch! I'm sure the gift was given with good intentions, but nonetheless,

ouch! Sorry it burned you. Hope you feel better. Take care.

God Bless

Shaving legs

To all,

Don't make the mistake that I did. One of the Christmas gifts I got was a

electric disk that is suppose to take the hair off of your legs and underarms.

You could not leave it in the same place you had to move it around

and it felt like sandpaper. So this is what I did. If you have sensitive skin

you might not be able to use it. Well this was me. I now have a burn under my

arm and I really cried with this. didn't want to laugh but he could not

help it. He had to blow on my underarm until the medication started to work. So

please don't get one of these. So will have to try something else to shave legs.

said he knows Vaughn will have a ball with this as you would have to see

it to believe it.

likes what Vaughn writes and really laugh at what he says.

Jane Anne:

I am glad to hear your armpits are recovering. I could just feel that! One

time I had just shaved my armpits, then put on roll-on deodorant. That's a

sensation that one notices!!!!

Up here in North Iowa, I don't shave my legs in the wintertime. The braids help

keep me warm. (grin) But, I can't seen going without shaving the arm pits, and

I have a very nice, easy to hold women's shaver that works well, and can't cut

me. Right now I can't remember the brand.

Good luck, and be careful!

well now, lets keep that sandpaper off of us, ladies. :) there

really is a sandpaper type product out there called " hairOff

mitten " . it acutally works quite well.......

also there is a good electric (battery operated) shaver that you can

use in or out of the shower.

so there, dale, now you, too, can return to shaving your legs! LOL

I've never see one with a long handle. The one that I found just fits in the

palm of my hand. It's not real big.

Good luck,

Jane I ask my assistive living person about that problem too. She
