Guest guest
Kamden, congrats on the weight loss so far! You're doing great! Try the USDA Nutrient Database to look up carb counts. It's a wonderful tool: http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/cgi-bin/nut_search.pl 249.5/224.6/120LC Since 06/26/00http://www.geocities.com/rhiannon828/
Guest guest
Just a note, if you try it right now, it doesn't seem to be working. I gave you the link I have book marked, so it should be right. Try again later. 249.5/224.6/120LC Since 06/26/00http://www.geocities.com/rhiannon828/ http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/cgi-bin/nut_search.pl
Guest guest
Hi Lynn, Aspartame, the artificial sweetener in diet coke stalls some people, too. Guest guest
Hey all, On 12th day of induction. Had lost 10 1/2 lbs. Today when I weighed I had gained two. The only difference in my diet was adding in several glasses of diet, caff-free coke. I am thinking that the gain might be water retention related to increased sodium intake, so I'll stick to water only again and see. Also, I think that maybe one of those carb counter books wouild help-the list in atkins book seems limited and I think that I might be having more carbs than I realize. Those dang labels with the zero carbs should be outlawed if it is not true! I am determined for this to work and will just buckle down and count everything more closely. Guest guest
First of all, congratulations on a job well-done thus far. Secondly, I wouldn't be TOO concerned just yet. I'd cut out the pop though, not b/c of sodium but because of the carbonation. The carbonation itself can cause water retention in a MAJOR way. Plus, some people decrease their water when they drink pop. In other words, if you just drank water, you might have 80oz/day, but if you drank pop too you might only drink 64oz of water or less! That's NOWHERE NEAR enough water! I'd just stay clear of that pop for a while and things'll work themselves out! in Indy 253.5/237/150 - 3/26/01 > Hey all, > > On 12th day of induction.
