I hope someone with a pump will reply. I don't recall this complaint from

PLSers,

with or without the pump. A lot do complain of excess saliva but that doesn't

sound like what you're referring to. Sorry that I am of no help but I hope

someone

can be...I don't want you to think you're being ignored.

I hope this works for you. From what I read, the doctor that

is he having sinus problems occassional i have sinus and get alot of fluid

drainage but it doesnt affect my speech anymore than normal GEO

Hi Yuksel,

I don't have the baclofen pump and I experienced the fluid going down inside my

throat and inability to clear it. I think this is called post nasal drip. I

find if I drink a lot of water or juice it's not so bad. The speaking part has

to do with your tongue and larynx. I have difficulty speaking especially if I

get anxious. A good speech therapist might relieve some of these symptoms. I

hope this helps.

Hi Yuksel:

As usual I am behind in answering my e-mails, although my intentions are

always good there always seems to be something to take my computer time

away.

I am not on the pump but do have constant thick secretions that run down

my throat (attribute it to sinus ??? never had this problem until a couple

of years ago) and the worse it is the worse my speech is definitely.

Thought it might be helpful for you to know that although I do not have the

pump, I still have similar problems with the thick secretions.

Good luck to you getting to the bottom of this as I am still trying to get

a definite answer.
