YES! That is exactly what it sounds like to me...ovulation. I remember that

after I lost about 100-150 lbs. after surgery, I began to FEEL myself ovulate

for the first time ever. Because of this, I knew EXACTLY when I was " in the

zone " to get pregnant. At any rate, it worked for me and I'm now 18 weeks

pregnant! Best of luck!

I am 5 weeks pg and have not had MS either. With my daughter I was violently

sick 24/7 for 5 months.

Hoping that it is the surgery and that I won't get sick. I am nauseous but only

that. It is doable!

Hi Im 29 and I'm a Londoner and my rheumatologist just told me both

hips were damaged (the killer pain was the giveaway) he had an

informal chat with his orthopod colleague and said I needed 2 THR's

within a year , he then talked about revisions every 7 yrs and their

falling success rates and said he could refer me to this orthopod.

This kick in the teeth sent me to the web where I came across

resurfacing When I went to my GP he refused to refer me to any one

but the same THR orthopod so now Im waiting to see him. Unfortunately

I have to use the NHS I cant afford to go private, I've heard that

the government is bringing rights for patients to see who they want

but I dont know about it and worse I dont know how to find out about

it. I do know a conventional THR would severely curtail my life and

at 29 you cant imagine HOW scary that is for me. I have great trouble

walking, I've put my life on hold, Im tired of the pain, I'm tired of

being old before my time, I'm tired of being ashamed of the way I

walk, I'm just tired of being tired. Now I see something that could

give me back my life but I dont know how to get to it. So Im asking

for help, does anyone of you know how I can get referred to a

resurfacing doctor, how do I get my GP to refer me or do I have to

wait till I see the orthopod who specialises in THR's and then get

him to refer me. Any help would be desperately appreciated

{ I understand not everyone on this list is interested in this topic

so you can email me at ouch871@... }

Hey Guys,

I could be wrong here, I have been up for 56 hours and before that, longer.

I have sat here for the last five minutes, reading about getting deployed,

what the hell is wrong with the Governor, the pay is good, sign up, etc, etc,

etc.

I have been working in the Beaumont Ford Park shelter for 7 days.(I think,

time is running together) and we have so much need and medical work going on

its ridiculous. Everyone wants to work 8a -5p., I cant work that day, no, I

dont work nights, etc. If this is the case, then maybe its the same in

Houston and everywhere else there is a shelter full of people in TEXAS. Not

NOLA,

where it is exciting til you get there. Let the government work their magic

in the pits and we need help in TEXAS. The pay is terrible. We have local

private ambulances that are losing their people to the promise of $300-$400

dollars a day, lodging paid for (I don't know where they are finding it, unless

its tents).

My point is the same as Gene's. This is what has been happening to 3rd

world countries all of our lives. Now it is here. I lost 3 medics to Iraq

because of the pay, not because of the miseries and needs of the people. 2 of

them came back in less than 5 months. The one that is left had no life and is

enjoying the vacations in Europe during his time off.

You chose this business for all of the right reasons, I hope. Then quit

waiting for someone to deploy you and look for someone that needs you where you

are. We will survive here in Beaumont, but I am sure Houston and some of the

larger shelters need your free help.

Just thought I would let you guys know, the two and three bedroom trailers that

were sent here by FEMA after hurricane charlie, and used to house families till

their own homes were fixed, have begun to leave here heading to Mississippi and

Louisiana....they are pretty nice trailers and should help in gettting people

into some longer term housing till permanent places are found or repaired.
