WOOHOO!!! Girl we are SO proud of you over here in our house!!! I was

telling DH all about it before hand and you know I told him you won! All

that hootin and hollerin you hear coming from the DC way, well, that's me

and DH over here! hahahahah

.....i'm sooo happy to say for the first time in my life i've earned the right to a first place prize!! : ) i was in competition with 17 other pies; the varieties were great (it was a fruit pie contest)...everything from rhubarb, fresh strawberry, peach and a few apple (and all kinds imaginable!!)....my apple pie WON the biiiig prize! : ) I won a $25 gift certificate to a nice garden shop/nursery here in town, a blue ribbon and an adorable pie baker knick-knack!
