Guest guest
I just have one thing to say to you girls who are nurses in the NICU. YOU ARE ALL WONDERFUL PEOPLE. I have a little girl who was born 2 months early. She weighed 2 lbs 10 oz at birth so she was our little miracle baby. The nurses in GrandForks North Dakota did such a wonderful job with her. I took one look at her after i was allowed in to see her and walked away and went back to my room. The nurse came in after me and asked what was wrong. I said, " I wasn't going to get attatched to something that wasn't going to live " . She said " There was nothing wrong with her and other then needed to put a little weight on. And SOOOO right she was. In one month to the date she got to come home. She is 5 years old now and very spoiled and a joy to have in our family. So like i said, you girls and men to. God Bless You!!! Guest guest
Are you over at LA County (USC)? If so, that place is a jungle regardless what unit you work in. While in school for my MBA I would moonlight for LA Children's Neonatal/Pediatric transport... Got to give you props if you're there and working in all that mayhem. ~ BabyCopia ~ Unique and Original Baby Products www.babycopia.com Re: Re: Newbie NICU Nurse who is 7 weeks Pregnant Thanks so much for the warm welcome and that is so cool that we share the same area of expertise I always wanted to work ER but here at the County Hospital in LA where I work , it is just a complete zoo of a ER and I opted to stay with the mommy's and babies My hat goes off to you cuz ER is sure a fast paced place to work Thanks again
