Guest guest
, If you aren't feeling any better this morning you get yourself back to the hospital. You should have stayed in the condition you are in. I know I would want to be home as well, but I think you would be better off in the hospital for a few days to get yourself on the mend. That is nothing to mess around with. At least you would make me feel better to know that you were in the hospital getting proper care. Hope you feel better soon! Guest guest
, You need to stay in bed as much as you can. Let your husband do as much as he can for the kids. Now it's your time to get well again. After your well again you can post and let us know how you're doing. You'll be in my thoughts. HUGS!!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Thank you to everyone for your concern, I am still in a bit of pain however I have been drinking as much as I can possibly tolerate. However , I jsut got a phone call from my sons doctor, I took him in to the doc friday for a horrible cough, sinuses and a severe stomach ache, which stomach aches and him ususally mean sepsis.... The doc called about an hour ago and told me that his sinus CT showed severe sinusitis in the maxillary and ethmoid sinuses, also that his blood cultures came back positive, off to the hospital with him. No time for me right now...sepsis comes first....

Guest guest
okay, I am the world's worst about going to the hospital when I need to. It took being pregnant as a matter of fact! However, in your case, even I would go! Especially if you havent gone to the bathroom yet. This is serious! Also, did they recheck your potassium after they gave you some? It may still be low for you. ll I made it home..When I got there things went from bad to worse. I got htere in alot of pain but no fever, no rashes, nothing else but pain.A couple of hours after I got there, I developed a rash all over my entire body, flat red all over, then another hour goes by and my blood pressure dropped to 74/46, then I spike a fever. I needed to get out of there I think....Anyway they took Xrays and urine and blood. They said I had pleurisy and early stage pneumonia. Also my white count was elevated and I had alot of protein in my urine and my electrolytes were off with low potassium a high anion gap and my kidney functions were all low....so he gave me potassium and antibiotics and a IV of anti infalmmatory. Guest guest
, Im sorry you and your son are both sick. you both should be in the hospital. Ive had both pleurisy and pneumonia before (i always get pleurisy with respiratory infections it seems and sometimes alone). It is very pain and with all the other stuff you got going on you need to be put in the hospital. the low potassium can cause alot of probs too. i know your son is very sick too but you both need to be taken care of medically. im hoping you are in the hospital by now and being taken care of. you and your son are in my thoughts and prayers. keep us posted. take care, adrienne
Guest guest
, If you are still feeling the way you described in this post, get back to the hospital and let them admit you. It sounds like you need to be under a doctor's continual care. Good Luck and we'll be anxious to hear from you when you are better and can post.
