I just bought a WW scale and it was digital.........rj

food scales

With all the talk about food scales I was remembering seeing one over

the holidays. I use a digital WW scale and love it. But here in

Canada I saw one at the Canadian Tire store, yes this store. It was

also digital and looked like a beauty too, a bit bigger than my WW

scale, had a bigger bowl etc. Weighed in ounces and grams and had the

tare on it also. The only problem was it is expensive, I believe it

was tagged $59.99. But then the one I have from WW cost over $35.00

and the person who gave it to me, had bought it around 15 yrs ago. It

was just like new, still in the box.

At the store I just had to take it out of the box and was thinking if

I didn't have a digital one, I would be getting it for myself as a

Christmas gift. I don't know why WW does not have a digital scale. I

asked here out of curiosity and they say they can't get them anymore.

I think I will check at the Canadian Tire and see if they drop the

price now that the holidays are over.

Just thought I would pass this on in case someone wants one,

regardless of cost and can find it.....Kallie

You can also buy a postal scale. They weigh in both grams and ounces and

they run about $35 on up depending on features.

You can find them at any office supply store. I make soap and lotion and you

need a good scale that does grams and ounces so I have a very fancy

chemistry scale that cost about $120. Then I found out you could get a good

postal scale that measures in grams for a lot cheaper. Needless to say I use

my fancy scale to weigh out my food all the time now :o)
