Guest guest
I'm going to treat it like any other day also. I'm just going to eat small servings of things that I really love and don't get the rest of the year. Luanne
Guest guest
So, I guess its' time to ask about Thanksgiving. How's everyone planning for it. For me, we're having it at our house, so I'll have a measure of control - access to my measuring cusps, food scales, etc. I plan to treat the day just like any other day (sort of) - I'll do a lite breakfast - we're going to eat early (about 1:30), so I'll have a taste of most of the goodies and turn this into a little heavier lunch (I plan to have flex points available if I need them) - and then I'll do a lite dinner. All leftovers get either sent home with people or portioned off / frozen for the days/weeks following. I'm pretty confident about handling this day .... I've made the decision that I won't let Thanksgiving or the holiday season derail me - I want to be close to 180 Pounds for the New Year!!!!! Guest guest
My week starts on Thursday so I will have Thanksgiving with all my Flex Points (I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing) I am also cooking and will have complete control over how things are prepared and how much I eat of it. I am also doing the desserts, I am making a WW apple cake recipe and some banana pudding using FF SF pudding and low fat vanilla wafers. The rest of the menu is somewhat healthy so I am not too worried about it. I am kind of worried about using the flex points that day along with having a 4 day weekend. Guess I will haev to make upp some AP's with all the shopping I plan on doing Friday Thanksgiving So, I guess its' time to ask about Thanksgiving. How's everyone planning for it. Guest guest
, Thanks for the nice words. Every year I try to invite someone for Thanksgiving who isn't able to spend it with family and Bonnie popped into my mind! Thanks again for the kind words. ~Dana Re: Thanksgiving Hi Dana, I have to say, you offering to share Thanksgiving dinner with Bonnie really underscored for me how incredibly special this group is.
