Guest guest
Isn't it necessary to check the DHEA levels in the blood before taking this stuff, or am I mistaking it for another hormone. I seem to remember that your level of DHEA should be checked in the blood first. Guest guest
Gene, I have had chronic fatigue all my life. I have been taking DHEA since it first became available. When you start taking it there is an increase of effect as you take more, which diminishes as your body becomes more accustomed to it. You sort of reach a plateau. A number of my friends stopped taking it at this point because they no longer noticed its effect. Then they started again in a few months when they no longer felt as good. I got up to 250mg a day. I wouldn't take it later in the day than around 2 pm, because it is a morning hormone. Melatonin is the evening hormone that complements it. But, if you are going to take DHEA, get some pregnenelone, say 10mg. Pregnenelone is the hormone regulator hormone, and you might get more from less DHEA with it. Also, in some middle-aged men there is an incidence of prostatic swelling when taking high daily doses of DHEA. (200mg) Were I to recommend someone take DHEA, I would say no more than 25mg accompanied by 10mg of pregnenelone. That would be for general use. Personally, I found more relief from the fatigue with 3tsp Homozon twice a day, and it's cleaning me out too. jim Gdwny@... wrote: > From: Gdwny@... > > I have had some serious problems with pain from fibromyaligia and chronic > fatigue syndrome. Guest guest
Thank you so much for your invitation. If I lived closer to you I would certainly visit you if for nothing else but the chance to share some of your knowledge. I believe in two things that really interest me in trying. Your HBOT and the use of ozone. I have went through some other ideas and as you can tell, I have found some useful. But none come up to the two listed above I my mind. Keep up your good works. It is totally up to your discretion. But at times it is hard to find a doctor that will check that. I can give you the names of some labs to do that. Guest guest
Jim, Thanks for your reply on this matter. I guess my real concern at the time I started the DHEA was the great pain I was in with my arm. I was so elated to lessen that I take the lessening of the fatigue as a bonus. But I have noticed that also. But your thoughts on reaching a plateau with its use interests me. I wonder why this is true? I can see reaching a point where more is no longer useful but to stop it for a time to get the results again is strange. Although I know that has proven true in studies with the herb echinacea. I will watch for that reaction. I have not reached nearly the level of yours at 250 mg a day. I have reached 75-100 mg a day right now. I have taken Melatonin for some time now as a sleep inducer and that works well. I have also taken 5-HTP for the tryyptophan. I use to take that before it was banned for such a stupid reason. I have read that pregnenelone is recommended with DHEA. I have not looked for this as yet and I am wondering if it is available over the counter as a nonprescription item? I will pay attention to signs of prostatic swelling now that you warned me about that. I have never tried Homozon as yet. I do not need the cleaning out as I have done that and have very good bowel movement and timing now. Several times a day. Guest guest
Martha, you asked about taking Ellavil for fibromyalgia. I know it is common to prescribe low doses of anti-depressants for fms and cfs. Are you on the antibiotic protocol or have you been tested for mycoplasma? Nicolson is finding around 70% of fms cases have mycoplasma infection. Secondly, if you are on antibiotics you want to be sure not to take other meds which interfere with absorbtion or put more stress on the liver. Dr. Nicolson has found that some of the antidepressants can hinder the effectiveness of antibiotics. Perhaps Dr. Chiu could comment on this from his experience. Sincerely, a C. I saw my GP yesterday and she said that she would like to try Ellavil for fibromyalgia pain; which is pretty bad. My osteo-arthritis (knees) is playing havoc with me this week; swollen tissue around knee. It is definitely time to get the hyalgan injections once again in the knees. They really do help me. My question is: what do you think about taking the anti-depressant Ellavil for the chronic pain of fibromyalgia. I would like any comments pro or con. What does this drug do? Does it block the pain from the brain. Well, I guess in some way it would have to do that to help?? Thanks. Martha
Guest guest
I think the idea behind using anti-depressants in low doses for fibromyalgia pain is to ensure that you get enough stage 4 sleep, the deep sleep part of the cycle, during which a lot of your body's healing and restoring functions take place. Guest guest
Liz, You could be very right about that. I was told that was one of the main reasons my doctor wanted me to take it for my whiplash because I was getting so sleep deprived from the pain that it was adding to the tension that was stopping the tissues from healing. a Peden > " Liz G. Guest guest
The pain of fibromyalgia is due to a clotting disorder whiich can be triggered by a chronic infection with just about any pathological organism. The clotting is not enough to block the blood vessel but puts a layer of soluble fibrin on the inside of the blood vessel which prevents oxygenation and nutrition of the tissues as well as preventing the pick up of toxins and other products of metabolism. Guest guest
The pain is also to explain as a water-acid-alkalide problem. Because of a lack of oxygen or a deficiency of fatty acids (or combination) the body will use the anaerob energy winning by burning glucose instead of the aerob burning of fatty acids. The lot of lactic acid will cause the pain. This is the only difference with chronic fatique syndrome: more pain than tired. Bert van Aalst. Guest guest
Testing needs to be done to check levels of homocysteine, lipoprotein a, fifrinogen If these are abnormal they can all be treated by the use of amino acids, ,vitamins and herbs. A natural substance I use comes from Natto called Nattokinase which will dissolve the soluble fibrin. Check the teeth on the QXCI for infection, inflammation, toxins which are often associated with clotting disorders need to be treated by QXCI especially with the Rife frequencies. Castiglia. Guest guest
, elevated levels of homocysteine and lipoprotein A are involved in heart disease. I am interested in knowing how you reduce lipoprotein A because high levels can be associated with a genetic predisposition and reduction can be difficult. Guest guest
Go to testpage, left side up: programs/ darkfield analysis/ click bloodtreatments AND click recommended action. Click superconscious scan of blood, click on the resulted item and treat till correction (on the first page) is sufficient. Redo this several times with 3 to 4 different bloodconditions. By investigation of the test results you know which buttons to check whatever appropiate blood conditions on the bloodtreatments page also. Guest guest
hi, i must tell a little story here....: as long as i had the qxci device, i had ph readings over 80 myself. i asked many times at many different places, why this is so. i have been taking kolloidal minerals, chelated minerals, himalaya crystal salt, etc. nothing ever changed the ph reading of over 80. i have then come to the conclusion, that this ph reading means nothing else but intracellular acidity. and fibromyalgia MUST have this intracellular acidity to even come into existance. (i had fibromyalgia AND lyme disease before) supergreens provide alkalinity. so. just recently i have seen an ad about a colloidal alkaline product. i thought, hm, give it a try. i took it for the ifrst time. high dosage as i usually do to try something. after an hour i had pain all over. muscles, bones, tendons, head, kidneys liver area, and a mood..... i could have killed somebody. true. i continued the intake, and after about a week, i tested myself at the qxci, and.... for the first time since i have the device, my ph readings were almost back to normal. now, this impressed me. actually a colloidal alkalizer was something, i have been looking for for the last five years. the funny thing about this alkalizer is, that the potassium in it directly moves into the cells, where it alkalizes and reactivates the sodium/potassium-pump (correct english expression???) it is called OSIBA, and is unique. only available here in germany. maybe there´s a way to get it overseas.... all the best marlene Re: Fibromyalgia Pain > Dear , > > I suffered from severe Fibromyalgia pains for over 6 > years and the only thing that was able to relieve my > pain was drinking a cup of dill & cilantro juice > everyday. Guest guest
Interesting..ph readings over 80 are alkaline..often due to incomplete out breathing of carbon dioxide, leading to additional sodium bicarbonate formation to carry it in the blood. So it would be interesting to consider something else in the remedy that had a balancing effect. However the QX Ph is an electrical balance that seems but may not always correlate with system ph john kelsey Re: Fibromyalgia Pain > > > > Dear , > > > > I suffered from severe Fibromyalgia pains for over 6 > > years and the only thing that was able to relieve my > > pain was drinking a cup of dill & cilantro juice > > everyday.
