Dear Norma does your jello have aspartame or splenda?? some people say

anything sweet stalls them cus sweet things can fool the body into producing

insulin even if they arent sugar.. if your jello has aspartame i would cut

it out for sure how bout portions of food or really fatty foods are you

eating anything thats mostly fat or in large quantities?

Yes the jello has aspartame. I do believe I ate it last year when I was

losing but I will give it a try.

Not too much fat except some cheese is very fatty. I eat chicken wings,

pork chops, hamburgers, steaks, salads broccoli and cauliflower. Some times

an 80 g bag of peanuts which is lees than 10 grams and sometimes pepperoni

which is not good as there is flower in it but I do not know how much.

well norma only thing you can do is cut down your portions of meat maybe

and up your portions of veggies a bit and see if that tweaks the diet for

you i am trying to eat less and guess what you end up hungry when you do

that :) keep your dairy under 4 oz and you know i would lose that whitener

stuff cus i dont think its good for you ..can you drink your coffee without

it?

Dear Corky yes i have read it several places my dad told me that when it first came out and he did alot of work with diet foods hes a chem engineer. he always told me it would actually make you gain weight just now i looked in my Pescatore book to see what he says about aspartame and i quote "aspartame interferes with blood sugar metabolism, because it may be able to mimic the effects of sugar on the body, thereby causing insulin to be secreted " i have read this in other books too

yes i knew about aspertame catherine. What i had never heard of was the sugar free jello causing stalls. But i guess if it's made with aspertame then, duh, it might. do they make it with splenda yet? I still think norma isn't losing because her metabolism slowed down when she quit and it needs to be sped up for her to lose.
