Hi Bonnie,

It is at 8 EST, PST, so you can subtract from EST depending on what time zone

you will be in. It is on Discovery Health channel, and it would be on a

different channel on your television set depending on your local cable or

satellite

carrier. It is a six part series so it will continue for the next 5 weeks.

I got a note from the doc. I'm just having a hard time getting it delivered...It

is a medical exemption. Anyone can take medications - it is actually a greater

sin to cause harm than it is to skip the fast.

Consider it done (or at least tried).

A TiVo is a digital VCR (kinda). It's a computer that attaches to your TV, and

records the shows you want onto a hard drive instead of tape. The great thing is

that the recording is digital, so you can make a large number of copies of the

recording without losing the definition. OK, getting techie - gotta stop.

Sounds cool ! Have to let us know how it comes out..... Well, I'm beat

tonight. Although totally unlike me, I'm going home from work without doing any

afterwork " honeydews " . Back to Mayo tomorrow. Haven't packed yet, and all I

feel like doing is sleeping. Don't know why I'm sooooo tired tonight. Oh well,

Those extreme fatigue days do come unfortunately. Try to get to bed extra early,

It is cool Bonnie. I got it with our Satellite (Dish Network) so it's not a true

Tivo, but they phrase is used like " google " now. The good part with Dish is no

monthly charge for the " Tivo " .

Barb and I are also working on a name for the little guy. " Sparky " , " Lefty " ,

" Kid " (you know, like sorts, the hot new rookie is " the kid " ), " King " (as in Mel

" History of the World " when they tell the king he looks like the p*ssboy)

and some others are floating. We had a good laugh with this one: " BARb's

kidNEY " , or BARNEY. Can't you picture a little purple kidney singing " I love

you, You love me... "

I was one of the ones you referred to in your post who was on Prednisone during

menopause. It was not a pretty picture. At the time I was taking Black Cohosh

for my hot flashes (I prefer to call it " my personal summers " ) when my neph said

NOPE - can't take the Black Cohosh. I felt like a woman on the edge - no doubt.

Luckily I was placed on CellCept and weaned off of prednisone....I returned to

normal - at least I'd like to think so....Rita

It was a kind of joint effort. Barb has been readin gall the postings as well,

and came in the next day to ask if I had thought of a name. She said " Barb's

Kidney " and then I said " Barney " . Then she started singing " I love you, you love

me... " . Let's just say that neither one of us will be the next American Idol.

As for Pierre's post about the fact that we talk about pee too much, I think he

might be right. I think we should use a code word for urine. I suggest we now

refer to it as " golden nectar " .
