I was 165 before chemo....I am down to 159 now, but before I found out I had BC I was down to 152. I just splurged on eating goodies. My favorite---Blue Bonnet Peanut Butter Panic-- which includes broken pieces of Reese PB cup. So I had gained a lot. Stress does that too. Now I just tossed out my dinner as it was a frozen dinner and did not even look tasty to me. I do have to eat as I am a diabetic. So I will eat some protein and carbs before bedtime. I don't want to gain this weight after chemo and I have heard people who went back to their regular weight after they finished radiation and chemo.

Hello I am and my chemo finished on Dec 2005, I gained weight, in fact I am feeling more fat after chemo, this is normal because you will recieve too mcuh medicine on your body, after my chemo I had a new surgery, but I am fine, and I am on my old weight, but anyway I am feeling so fat. My Doctor recomends to go walking 30 min. 5 days a week, but in winter this is impossible. This is my situation now. Regards Aviles Janet Andersen wrote: Margery I was 165 before
