In that case I think it should be 'A-lee-thia'. Not sure. My hubby is a HUGE baseball fan and I agreed that he could name a boy and I could name the girl when we fought over names. That was how confident I was with the ultrasound tech even though we had a booboo with our first child and the sex..... (that's another story) He is going so far that if the baby ends up being a boy he wants . I thought well that isn't too bad until he explained the for Nolan and for Jeff Bagwell..... Ugghhhhhh Good luck and maybe you could use the name your hubby likes as a middle name and then find something you really like for the first name. I've had a zillion ultrasounds and each time his little piece of manhood looks exactly as Warren's did on ultrasound. I like baseball too. Matter of fact, I played fast pitch softball for 16 years and played during college as well, but I don't think I would name my children after athletes or tv people. When I was pregnant for the 2nd time(had a miscarriage) we decided on . Now that it's on the top of the list I would probably change my mind. The great thing about Justice is that when I have another one, if it's a girl I will name her Liberty. So I will have Liberty & Justice (for all! lol). It came from my Grandfather...Rosswell Warren Yorke. Whatever happened to these names? I don't like trendy names or names mispelled on purpose or anything that is 'different' on purpose. If you like Curtis, Zachary or (dh) then go with it and not if everyone is called it. I could understand if your siblings had kids with those names .. but to me no matter what name you choose unless you go really " out there " you're bound to run into someone else with that name. Yes lol I went with Zachary but not because its popular just because i love the name. I've never known anyone personally with the name .. My husband is a huge Bill Elliott (NASCAR) fan. Bill has a son named Chase. Additionally, Chase in french means " hunter. " Hunting is the other passion that my husband has. So, needless to say, we named our first child Chase Alan. I have only received positive comments about his name. We are expecting our second child due 9/30/02. The latest ultrasound was not conclusive, but the tech said she didn't see any boy parts. If we have a daughter, we are naming her Brynn Cecile--if another boy,Wyatt. I hope you can draw some inspiration from these names. It would be a shame to name your son after someone that you don't respect. Good luck to you. He had to name them both after him ( Quincey )and he already had a son from a previous relationship that was the JR. My eldest son I love his name Quinten but my youngest is Quintrel it is a unique name nobody else has it but every one assumes he's a girl when they first hear it, always is misspelled, and face it it's just more difficult. So some advice no matter what go with something you are sure you like.
