Guest guest
Let me start by saying this isn't a flame....don't take it that way...I am just sending this for informational purposes...I am an Information Systems Professional and see things like this all the time....now...... Just want everyone to know..this is an email hoax....it has been circulating for some time...there are numerous others (similar hoaxes) out there as well..... The Department of Energy has a computer incident advisory web site dedicated to stopping rumors such as this before they get out of hand...the area which refers to the email tax hoax is at the url listed below... http://ciac.llnl.gov/ciac/CIACHoaxes.html#emailtax What is the purpose a such a hoax you ask?....basically it is designed to clog up band width....when people hear of such things they immediately send it to a bunch of their email friends who send it to theirs who....you can imagin what happens...it is kind of like the energizer bunny.......it might be a good idea to check the CIAC from time to time to see what the latest hoaxes are so you can avoid passing on faulty information and starting a run for the bank....
