Hello all,

I saw a new doctor today. Well, I saw his office and will see him in 4

weeks. I have been on Zithromax for amost 4 years and I still relapse when

I go off it. Dr. Neil Speight is a rheumatologist in Charlotte, NC who

treats arthritises and FMS and CFIDS with antibiotics and alternative meds.

I could not get an apt with him right away, so I saw someone else in his

office. As soon as I told her my story she said, " I don't know enough about

this but Dr. Speight does. I will get you an apt with him. " She went and

talked with him and came back saying that Zithromax alone would not get rid

of mycoplasma incognitus. I would have to do a couple of antiobiotics at

once. He did not want to start me on something new until he had time to sit

down and talk with me, but I will see him in 4 weeks. Meanwhile I will

continue with the 500 mg of Zithromax every other day. Once I see him I

will send another post updating this information. Also, if any are in the

Charlotte area I would be glad to forward his number. Remember he is booked

for 3 months of apts now, but probably worth the wait.
