Guest guest
Hi Pierre, I am so glad you are back on DSL! Good picture of you too. I did not know that the blood does not go through the machine itself so I learned something new. I think I am supposed to go tour the dialysis center I will be using next month. On the move, I too think it is a good idea to declutter every few years. We have moved three times, and each time I try to get rid of as much as possible. You new view sounds magnificent. You have to take a picture of your view and post it. I am happy you find it exciting to live in the city with so much near by. Just don't let the restaurant temptations derail your diet :-)
Guest guest
Hey you don't look bad! Thanks for putting that photo up, I think it helps to see just what it looks like to be hooked up. It takes some of the mystery out of the whole process....your mind can come up with some interesting things when you have no frame of reference. I hope you won't have to go for very much longer...there is a kidney out there somewhere.... Amy G. Guest guest
Thanks Pierre for posting the picture. And, Amy, Thank you for putting how I felt into words! I must have started at least three different emails and deleted them all, cuz I just couldn't find the words! (prednisone day :-)) You are more than right about the strange and wonderful things that at least MY mind can come up with! _____ From: Amy Griswold Sent: Saturday, September 25, 2004 1:38 PM To: iga-nephropathy Subject: Re: Photo of your webmaster on dialysis * Hey you don't look bad! Guest guest
Hi Pierre, I like your picture....I dunno about the " how bad you look " , more like, you look pretty relaxed! If I ever reach that stage (dialysis), I only hope to be half as relaxed as you look in the pic, b/c I totally hate needles and it seems you have to deal with that ever time there is dialysis. I'm glad that your move went smoothly and that your current residence sounds so awesome! I love living walking distance of shops and restaurants and all the things I need. : ) Sophia > Hi everyone. > > I got my nurse to snap a picture of me last week at dialysis with my > mid-1980's Kodak 35mm camera. Guest guest
Hi, Pierre! You look very at ease. I hope I look like that when the time comes for me to be on dialysis. For some of us that are not on dialysis just yet, thank you for sharing with us how the machine looks. Take Care and have a great week.
