Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the group, but sorry it took a diagnosis of IgAN for you to need to find your way here. It is good to hear that the group has been embraced by your medical community and was recommended to you. Our aims are twofold: to provide information on IgAN and to provide support for those whose lives are touched in some way by IgAN. A great place to start is our sister site www.igan.ca where Pierre has loads of information posted and it is presented from a patient's perspective. Also, feel free to ask any questions you have along the way and we will do our best to answer them for you. Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the friendly and supportive path in Ig A. I'm sorry you were diagnosed with Ig A, however I hope your numbers stay stable as many of us are on site here. You are absolutely right, regarding a wealth of information and support through thisweb site. I don't think you'll ever find such a wonderful and compassionate group of folks. It's absolutely amazing what Pierre has developed here, and the moderators are the best! Regarding the medical terms going over your head....please feel free to ask away.... these folks have " been there, done that " and " more than " understand the terminology. There are all walks of life here on site. Everyone is here to help each other along the path. We all come from different backgrounds, cultures and knowledge, many of which are professional folks, some including the medical profession. None of us profess to be nephrologists, but with all the thoughts and support running around here, you are surely welcome to " ask away, vent, or what ever " ((((smile))))) Take good care, Bonnie gpmcneill wrote:HI My name is i am from Ireland , i was diagnosed with iga 18 months ago .
