Hi Everyone!

I finally feel good enough to sit in front of the computer and type.

My surgery was 9/5. Sherry from TN was my angel, but my nurses

wouldn't let me talk to her. The phones don't reach. My incision

starts from just below my breastbone/ (Xiphoid tip for those medical

people)to about 3 inches below my belly button.

That is almost 16 inches! Why did my doctor have to cut so much?

Most incisions are about 8 inches.

Ok enough of the complaining. I feel pretty good. I still have pain,

but each day I feel a little better.

I am very thankful that I made it through this surgery with almost

no complications.

17 days post op, and I have lost 30 lbs already. I get my staples

(all 48 of them) removed on Wednsday.

Thank you everybody for helping me through my fears.

Thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts. God was listening.
