Hi Cary,

That is wonderful news that 11 of your " little ones " fertilized. I am so

happy for you and dh2b. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Please

Hi everyone! I'm so behind on reading the posts! I left work early

Friday and had friends come in from out-of-town so I have not had a

chance to keep up on everyone. I do hope that you are all doing well

and as hard as it may have been, I hope you all had a good Mother's

Day or at least viewed the day as a chance to realize that whether

they are here with us or up in heaven waiting on us, we all have

beautiful babies that wanted Sunday to be our special day.

I don't know if some of you know, but I had started IVF a couple of

weeks ago and Monday they performed egg retrieval - 21 EGGS!! My

doctor seemed to be impressed with that....as were we! Today they

called with an update to tell me that 11 had fertilized! Needless to

say I was very excited....called DH2b and told him he had 11 little

babies. He was so sweet....he said " ahhh...really? 11?? How cute "

So he keeps saying it.... " WOW...I have 11 little ones just a growing

away. " What was really cute is my son (his soon to be step son)

called from a friends house and said " Dad,.... " and German(dh2b)

looked at me funny (he usually calls him by his name not ever Dad).

When he got off the phone DH2b said.... " WOW...first I was

thinking...is that my babies tyring to tell me to hurry up and get

mom up here...we're ready " I guess it's not as funny reading

it....but it was hilarious if you could have seen his face. Not to

mention that my son has decided to call him Dad....I absolutely love

it and I think DH2b feels pretty honored right now. But

anywayzzzzzz....back to the IVF....= ) It looks like Saturday we

will do the embryo transfer...I'm really getting excited! We've

really been talking baby names a lot lately. Problem is we can't

seem to agree....we don't totally disagree, but neither of us get to

excited about the other's choices either. Oh well...we'll have 9

months to cuss and discuss that subject ....I HOPE!!!

Well I'm sorry to have typed on and on....but felt like sharing and

you all are the best listeners I've got next to DH2b and he even gets

tired of me rattling on an on! Take care and I will try to catch up

on everyone in the next couple of days!

with your friends! & nbsp; 11 eggs.......boy, you might

need a huge house!! I just had a " flash " ....I could

see the newspaper now......Cary and German have 11

healthy babies....a world's record!!! Wow! Ok, we will

take as many healthy babies as we can get. Of course I

can say " we " because I will not be there to take care

of them all!!! I am glad though things are going good.

I can't wait until Saturday. & nbsp; (Ok, I have a

stupid question, sorry,....after that, how long will

it be until you find out how many took?) I am so

excited, I can't wait!!!!

<P>I think that is so sweet that your son started

calling dh2b dad. Shows how much he loves him. I think

that is great! German must of been blown away! I

definitely think that is a sign..................Great

things are coming!!!!!!!!!

<P>As for baby names, my dh and I couldn't even agree

on our cats and dog names! Our first cat walked around

for weeks without a name!!! She ended up being called

Kit Kat!! The second cat wasn't quite as hard, she was

into everything from the moment she walked in the

door!! We kept coming up with names....but I said my

niece can't be calling the cat my a bad

word.....shithead came to mind!! She is so loveable

though!!!! As for our poor dog....we finally named

him, started telling people the name, than changed

it!!! Boy, our poor baby will be in trouble!! Sure

hope you have better luck!! LOL!

Thanks ! To answer your question.....(as far as I know)...21 eggs were

retrieved and 11 fertilized. They are supposed to call me with daily

updates until Saturday. I will be sure and keep you all informed as well as

I can....and as well as I understand!

DH2b is being so cute....last night he asked if we should call and check on

the children. = )

Cary that's great! You're almost to the point where we get to read the

post that says you're pg! I'd be excited if I were dh2b also. Can you

imagine actually having 11 kids? Then you guys could use all the names

you picked without having to decide on just one! Just kidding of

course, I hope you have an easy transfer and things go great over the

next few weeks. Keep us posted!

happy for you. I wish you the best of luck. This whole IVF cycle was great
