Guest guest Posted February 23, 2006 Report Share Posted February 23, 2006 Hello everyone, Well I'm just now getting the results from my 3 vials of blood taken from me a week ago at my 6 week checkup. Seems that I am a walking miracle. My dr is absolutely flabbergasted that I can function at all. My over all blood count is less than 1!!! How can that be possible? I'm so anemic that I'm below the radar? I had a CT scan done yesterday for my other stomach issues..and of course had super nurse. She said she could put an IV in anything..I warned her about my non existant veins, well she blew my veing under the forearm. That lovely soft flesh is now black and blue. So along with the bags under my eyes, I have sever bruising up my arm vein. I think it's called heroin chic!! LOL Anyways..will let everyone know what the next course of action is. At least at my Hematologists it takes 3 and 1/2 hours. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon I know they helped me.
