Guest guest Posted November 6, 2007 Report Share Posted November 6, 2007 What about a saliva DHEA test? You're not directly supplementing it, so one might *naively* think it would be less affected. But it is probably secreted by the adrenals, and directly or indirectly controlled by ACTH which is suppressed a bit on HC.. It would be nice if there were some bio-marker of the adrenal circadian-pattern and general gland health OTHER than C or DHEA, as both of those are made " not normal " by HC. Something I suppose like C-peptide is to insulin (marker of pancreatic activity, but can still be assayed while you're using insulin).
