way to go Norma. I can't believe I have exercised for 43 days. I don't think I am going to do so well in the no snack department tonight though. I am really hungry and I only have a few carbs left. I will try to keep it to jello and sour cream.

Dianne, I forgot to tell you that while I was fiddling with my tape player I accidentally hit a radio station that was playing continuous merengue and salsa music...I had only planned on doing one turn around the neighborhood, but I did two...and I felt like breaking into dance LOL....one of these days I may do it and prove to the neighbors that I am crazy.

I walked to and from work yesterday, cleaned my garage for two hours and

then went for a four mile walk. 14077 steps !

It is cold and misting (not really raining), so I am off for at least a 2

mile walk. I go clean my cousins house this morning. Perhaps I will walk

with my DH after dinner.

Dale,

Sounds like you just over did it. After a month off you should not try to

run a marathon. Take a short walk every day and add a little more to it

after about a week. In a short time, you'll be back up to a half mile

again. Betcha!

Oh, I do exercise every day. I have jus slid downhill a bunch this last two

months and then the damn medication problem... I probably did over do but

what can you do? Make the most of it, we all know it doesn't matter, you

could have a great day and not do much, the next day??? It doesn't matter,

you might feel good or you might feel bad, at least that's the way it is

with me. Now I know if I push one day I will pay for the next 3-5. But I'm

usually talking just very tired, yesterday I felt exhausted as expected, the

added bonus was feeling so bad... That is what I am talking about, of

course we had a cold front go through also, I'm sure that helped a lot ;-).

Dale have you ever noticed how some people seem to know their limitations . ive

noticed im good for 3-4 hours of yard work (mowing etc.) then without notice i

start getting clumsey loose my balance and fall .On the other hand if im sitting

down or kneeling im good for 5-6hours but have to be real careful getting back

up .With us though we tend to take it to the limit .One of these days we'll go

too far and have a nasty fall but we'll get better and try it again this is what

i call not giving in (stuborness) my wife tries to do things for me that i can

do just slower .Tends to get under my skin .My theory is if you give in you are

already defeated .GEO

Unfortunately I do know mine, but for me it's about 10 minutes on a " normal "

day before I have to rest a little while. If I am exhausted, I stumble,

fall, drop things, it's just horrible. You realize how much energy/brain

power it takes just for us to move...

thanks GEO,
