Guest guest
Dear Annette: I have developed those yeast infections under the panni prior to pregnancy. In order to prevent it from happening again, I use baby powder with corn starch. I have found the best way to prevent it (and even heal it) is to keep the area as dry as possible. It is almost like treating a baby's diaper rash. I lay down on the bed and pull up the panni area and generously sprinkle the baby powder on the entire area. It always works for me. I hope you have good luck with it also. Shoshannah
Guest guest
Annette, I developed a yeast infection in my belly button while pregnant. I was instructed by my OB to put Monistat in the belly button with a q-tip 3 times a day. It did the trick for me. D.
Guest guest
Annette, I haven't had an infection under the panni during pregnancy. But here's my weird little secret for avoiding any problems with moisture under there. When I get out of the shower and am dried, I lift my tummy and use the hair dryer (on a low setting of course) to dry underneath there. (Sorry for the visual!) I know it sounds a little strange, but it works!
