last weekend i had a baby size cup of sugar free, fat free vanilla fozen yogurt. of course this isn't on the list of foods to enjoy... but if something is sugar free, is there any reason why not? i do know we have to be conscious of the sweetener used, and i suffered some very unfortunate side effects from the lifesavers sorbet sugar free candies (i guess 1 a day is my limit with the sorbitol), but as for the yogurt... is this a good treat for me every once in awhile? i'm not craving it and i could go without it. but summer is a difficult time with me and ice cream. i know we are allowed fat free plain yogurt... so what's the difference? can anyone let me know if this is okay, if only for phase 2 and beyond?Celeste wrote:

where are the calories coming from when there is no fat and no sugar in it?Carol Parsons wrote:

i got it at an ice cream store we have here in PA called "The Meadows". They don't even have real ice cream, they serve frozen custard, which is like 10 times worse for you than even full fat ice cream... before SBD I was stopping there 1-2 times a week for a cone!!! after i started SBD i missed it so much so i went back to see if their frozen yogurt was sugar free, and it was!!! so i treated myself to the baby size. i'm not sure if there are store varieties.Terri Elliott wrote:

I'm in DuBois!!! They just opened it this summer. I grew up around Altoona though, so I recognized the Meadows when the advertised it and was sooooo excited they were getting one here. I can hardly keep myself away from it when they do Coconut and Cappucinno Chocolate Chunk!!! The coconut is really my downfall though... yummmm soooooo creamy with the coconut flakes.....omg i have to stop. : )Jilly34689@... wrote:

Wow! That's pretty cool that we're so close. I lived in Hollidaysburg until I was 5, then we moved to Tyrone, where I went to school. Moved from there when I was 20 to Hampton, VA, lived there for 2 years, and moved back to finish college in State College. Lived there for 3 years, moved to burg for a few months, hated it, and moved to DuBois to be with my boyfriend. I've been around! I really like it here though, I think mostly because I have a job that I LOVE, and that's never happened before. I drive to Indiana once a week for school too. There's a Meadows there too. LOL!!! I need to stay away from that place, it's addicting. I'm dreading the day when I see "COCONUT" as the flavor of the day on the sign. It's right on a main road of DuBois so it's difficult to not pass it. Hopefully my will power will last through the summer. Jilly34689@... wrote:
