Guest guest
Yes i actually freeze mine and all gf flours.. i once sent xanthan to school for their pantry, they returned to me at the end of the year and it smelled nasty. i always freeze if i have the space. welcome back to the list. you should be proud of yourself for getting back on i'm sure that was not easy to do. Melonie does a fantastic job and we are so lucky to have her, the incident at least made us all realize that! hope you are feeling better. Guest guest
I don't freeze or refrigerate my xanthan gum or any of my GF flours. I do try to keep an eye on those with high fat/ protein content because they can go " off " more quickly than others. I do refrigerate my baking yeast however. > SillyYaks , Ian's Mimi <mimi_to_ian@> wrote: > > > > Do you refridgerate your xanthan gum after opening? > > > > Thanks, Mimi > > >
