Janette,

First sit back and take some deep breaths. You don't need to end up in the ER or worse.

I will do some research and send it to you privately. You did absolutely NOTHING wrong posting ONE sentence. I agree that its wise to get permission before posting a whole email. But you posted one sentence! Geez!!!!!

I don't know who did this but if I do find out, they will be put on moderate or banned from this group. We had this pettiness once before, and I will not tolerate anyone starting this up again. MOST of the ladies that were in on it left this group, and went to the "other" but there are a few left and on moderate for a good reason.

Noone in this group is going to jump on you. We were all new to this at one time and asking questions is the only way you learn. We are here for you and offer support and love to all of our members. We are the BIGGEST and BEST group on the net!

Please take care and let us know how you are feeling later tonight or sometime tomorrow. You are in my prayers.

Hugs

Help with a question about Yahoo

Hello,

How would I go about contacting Yahoo about being harassed? I just received an email from the "other" list owner saying someone in here told her I posted a private email she sent me. I didn't, I just posted that one line as I did not understand what she was saying. Is that wrong? Against rules? I would not post an entire email without someones approval first. I am really really upset. Any info on who to contact at Yahoo would be GREATLY appreciated. I don't need this aggravation and am a truly caring person and not one that likes all of this hassle. I am too old for this.

I am just sick over this. My b/p had gone down some and now it is back up and I have a worse headache AND vomiting. Please don't jump me like the other ones. I am NEW to all of this.

Janette, Quite honestly, Yahoo could care less. I say that because, I

moderated a discussion group that was owned by another individual. When

she fouled up her Yahoo ID(which caused her to be unable to access the

group, she accused me of stealing it. When I gave ample evidence of her

violating the TOS Agreement, they did nothing to her. At the same time,

the owner of another group I moderate, was falsely accused of violating

the TOS Agreement so, Yahoo shut down her ID, even though, she did

nothing wrong

Yahoo is very 'fickle' with there policies.

I am not sure if the e-mail is not to you directly that it is anything outside of slander-

Internet harassment carries a seven year jail term- I went straight to me my problem e-mailer to let them know the law and told them I would see them in court.

Good question about it being one or so emails. I will try to take time to look into Yahoo in the near future. Right now I am running behind with the Lapghans for the nursing homes. They have turned the heat down 5 degrees at the homes, due to high heating costs, and the poor people are cold. To us 5 degrees may not seem like a lot but to a sick senior citizen it is.

Hmmmm this could be interesting as I have some old emails I saved from a previous time where this has happened. Thanks for bringing this up Elaine :-)
