AEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

You're as bad as my kids. One came in today and told me ALL about what

happens in Return of the King. (I think he was lying just to torture me,

though, because I didn't go to the midnight showing last night and they

were bummed I wasn't there. My husband went, though.)

Roy has seen Return of the King? How was it? My boyfriend is out to sea until

Friday, so I was forbidden to go see it without him. Guess I know what we are

doing Friday night. Can't wait.

He absolutely loved it. I asked him " So how was it. " He looked at me

very seriously and said " Better than Star Wars. "

Now let me explain this.

Roy saw Star Wars when he was 9 years old.

He fell in love.

He loves Star Wars more than he loves me. I swear.

His parents would drop him off in the morning and he'd watch the movie

over and over again all day at the theater. He saw it over 100 times.

He said this is one is, by far, the best movie he has ever seen. He said

that not only was he not even remotely tired the entire time (despite it

letting out near 4 a.m.) but he spent a good 1/3 of it with his jaw

dropped just AMAZED at how incredible it was.

I can't WAIT to see it Sunday!

Thanks for the update, Tory. We are going tonight!!! I can't wait. Better

than Star Wars?? Wow, that must be good. My BF and Roy sound alot alike, he

compares the greatness of movies to Star Wars also. I can't wait till he gets

home and I can talk to him and tell him this. The funny thing is all the guys

on his ship are all LOTR fans and they all bought tickets to the 5:00 show, so

the captain has this deadline now, to get them back in port and give them

liberty in time for them all to get to the movies.

That's hilarious, and so nice of the captain. My husband and I had

to see the Two Towers by ourselves because we don't have family or a

babysitter in this state (we haven't lived here long). We will

probably have to trade off again this time, but I have another mom I

can see it with now who said she and her husband had the same

problem they didn't get to see the movie until it came out on DVD.

Roy is the biggest SW fan I've ever met. He has seen it well over 100

times. I mean he is a FAN! He can practically recite the entire movie.

So for him to say it is better than Star Wars is HUGE.

I wanted to go see it last night but the kidney stones kept me from

going, but today I feel fine so we're going to the Cinerama (huge cool

theater in Seattle refurbished by of Microsoft fame) Sunday.
