Hi Max,

It sounds like you're doing well on the WW program so far. To answer your

specific question, one of my favorite fast-food items is Mc's BBQ grilled

chicken sandwich on whole wheat bun for 6.5 points (not available in all

stores--check yours). Also I love In n Out's basic hamburger, SKIP the mayo and

instead have ketchup and mustard for 6 points. I don't know, though, if you'd

consider these filling enough.

Have you discovered Dotties Weight Loss Zone? It's a wonderful website

filled with recipes, tips, success stories and best of all -- a list of

restaurants

and points values for many of their items. Check it out at dwlz dot com!

Good luck to you.

Bette

Max, for a change on your subway, request a packet of FF Italian dressing.

Someone here told me to do that, and I LOVE it! Gives a nice flavor change.

For me, fast food is difficult. Subway is the only place I can fill myself for

low points. I do Taco Bell, but 7 or 8 points worth is not filling. If I get

the pinto beans as opposed to a burrito, it's a good deal at 3 points. Tacos

are 4 points apiece. So 2 tacos and a pintos and cheese is a lower-point fast

food meal that is semi-filling.

That's all the advice I really have...unless, of course, you don't mind carrying

your own 1-point buns with you. Sandwich buns at most the fast food chains are 3

points apiece. I take my own buns in and swap them.

p.s. My leader told me that Hardees has a really good ham and cheese sandwich

for 7 points. I haven't checked it out, but that's worth a try.

p.s.s. I don't like salads for lunch either. They are not filling to me

whatsoever. I do like them, but just for " fluff " lol

The fat free Italian at subway is fabulous. Their roast chicken on

the reduced fat menu is so good with that dressing. Welcome to the

board, Max! Good luck to you!

I enjoy a cup of 's chili and a side salad.....same thing at Burger

King. Also...the chicken baguette sandwiches at BK are good and only 6 to 7

points a piece...add a salad and you're full!

Oh! Also at 's the grilled chicken is 6 points. Add a side salad

with chili and it's 10. (Or don't do the salad if you don't like salad.)

No chili but fat free french dressing, 7.

You all are making me hungry.

In my teeny, tiny town we have a Burger King, Taco s, Taco Bell, Mcs,

KFC and Hardee's. Of course 's is my all-time favorite fast food

restaurant. I worked at one during the " Where's the Beef " phase when I was in

college.

Ah, what I wouldn't give for a 's closer than 60 miles to my home. That's

why I'm not familiar with point values, as we don't have one close. =(

Some of the flavors of Baked Lays are 3 points. The original are still 2 :)

-- Re: Re: First Question - Lunch!!

3 points for baked lays???? My original baked lays in the bag are 2 points.

I take my slider with me and calculate. I always keep my slider in my

purse. Has the nut. info changed??

I think I'll have to make a run to Subway for lunch tomorrow and

double-check the points!

,

Which baked Lays are more than 2?? Yikes, I thought they were all still 2. I

usually get the ones with the cheese, are those still 2??

They are all pretty good as opposed to the regular chips and the higher

points.

Do you eat the pretzels with cheddar powder or honey mustard powder??

, Bette said her bags were 1 1/2 ounces and 3 points. I know that my

Subway bags are 1.1 ounces, so they're still 2 points. I calculate it every

time I go to subway. So just double-check how many ounces are in the bag.

Max,

The subway sandwiches are indeed great and filling. Other favorites

of mine include

the new chicken sandwiches that BK is offering and 1/4 chicken w/ new

potatoes and

steamed veggies at Boston Market. I'd encourage you, however, to

reconsider the

salad option, though. A lot of them are real yummy - not just the leafy

greens you

might expect - I personally love the 's salads, particularly the

Mandarin

Orange Chicken Salad.
