Well, I received my lab results from the blood draw yesterday. I found that it

is so much faster to get my labs now that I put my fax number as an additional

cc: on the form!! The lab screwed up on the Free T3 though and did a T3 Uptake

instead, but they did get the Free T4 in there. The results are:

Free T4 .52 (0.61 - 1.76)

TSH <0.004 (0.350 - 5.500)

T3 Uptake 26 (24 - 39)

_____________________________________________________________________I agree

with Terry about cutting back very slowly. Your body has to adjust.

I really messed myself up trying to cut back when I thought I was hypo but I

really wasn't. My doctor also screwed me up by cutting my dose

significantly - from 20 to 10, then from 10 to 5. I had to go back up to 10

for the past 10 weeks, but have started this week alternating between 7.5

one day and 10 the next, because I think I'm going a little hypo. I think

cutting your dose in half is just too much. I cut back 2.5 mg at a time AT

THE MOST despite what my doctor tells me to do, and it's worked out 1000

times better for me.

Hmm last time they screwed up on mind they did some renal test,

the results were fine apaprently, so that was close in

comparison ;)

Hmmm not good - I'd probably be asleep in bed if it were me. I'm

losing the thread here, didn't you say you thought you were

going hypo?

I've given up caring about my TSH, as it doesn't resemble

anything useful.

Although <0.004 look unusually sensitive, either they have good

tests or an extra zero crept in.

****Yes I did say I thought I was going hypo. Funny how you learn to feel the

changes in your body, isn't it. I'm not too tired. I cannot get up in the

morning to go to gym like I was able to just a few weeks back though.****

****My TSH has been that same number for the last 3 testings. I know not to pay

too much attention to it since it can lag so far behind the T4.****
