Guest guest
None of the IRL people I know who had RAI have had trouble. They pop their Synthroid in the morning and get on with their lives. Some of them did it right off, and some tried ATD's first and didn't like them. There is no treatment that gives you a quick fix, and nothing is perfect, but RAI is not the unmitigated evil that it is sometimes portrayed to be. It does have its advantages, as well as its disadvantages. My biggest gripe about it is that US doctors tend to be either ignorant or dishonest about the alternatives and push it as a universal treatment, which it isn't. There is no universal treatment! -- in Fla.
Guest guest
Thank you for your honest response. I feel I really need to hear about all possible scenarios before I make and eduacated decision.
